Story Time Featuring Animals From The Zoo!

I had just entered the zoo when, all of a sudden, I saw a panda sitting there eating bamboo, completely ignoring all the people around it. After that I noticed the red panda exhibit. I observed the trees trying to find a red panda. I was never good at finding them because they're so small, so I had to rely on my best friend to point it out. It took a while to find a red panda but I finally spoted one! It was hiding in one of the trees to the top right corner, what a sneaky panda! After that I thought to myself "Hey! There should be polar bears here, I need to find them!" so I went searching and while searching for the baboon enclosure I stumbled upon the flamingos. Gorgeous creatures they are! I remember an interesting fact I read a few months ago. It said that flamingos feathers are actually grey, they're the colour they are because of the pigments in their food. I just stared at them, admiring their beauty.

After getting my thoughts together, I told myself to stop getting sidetracked or else the zoo will close and I wouldn't have gotten the chance to see the polar bears and capybaras. I started walking down a path listening to the noises the animals were making, surprisingly, I found that peaceful. After a while of listening to the animals and people I decided to try and finally find the polar bear and capybara exhibit since I have never seen either of them up close. I thought that would be a good idea so I looked up trying to find a sign that said "Polar bears this way" or "Capybaras that way" and I ran into the polar bear sign first. I followed the sign to where it was pointing and I saw one. I saw a polar up against the glass interacting with two kids who were the only ones there. I was staring at the polar bear's nose. I just wanted to go and touch it. I walked up to the glass and just stood there. The polar bear turned to look at me and star blanky. I put my hand on the glass and it did the same. We were technically touching hands. The two kids left, one of the zoo employees announced over the speakers that it was close to closing time and then we were left alone. We stared into each others eyes for a few minutes maybe, five to eight? It got too quiet so I decided to say "Hi." The polar bear still stared at me. I felt like it was trying to tell me something and I just wasn't catching on. Right before that polar bear was going to do something, the same person that announced the last message over the speaker told the remaining visiters to leave, and so I did.

I didn't get the chance to see the capybaras but I did get the chance to make a potential friend!

The Power Of Imagination!

Imagine, you had the power to create a new holiday but it had to be a holiday that had a purpose, a strong reason as to why it should exist. Not just so you can stay home and not do any work or do nothing, but to enjoy a day with or without people. I would create a holiday called Visiting Sights. A creative name, I know.

The name mentions it all but if you haven't caught on, this holiday is about visiting sights. It doesn't matter if it's just a house or a lake, The reason I would create a holiday like that is because I want the people of Japan to be proud of what has become of their home. I want them to be thankful for all the things that have been created so, they have to visit places and think about the times they spent there or if they haven't visited a certain place they can just sightsee. So much fun! That is all the holiday would be about. What would your holiday be about and what would your reason be?

Holidays!

Everyone likes holidays right? And different countries celebrate different holidays for different reasons right? Well, Japan celebrate a lot of holidays but the one I'll be sharing some infomation about is National Foundation Day then share what I would do. National Foundation Day is a holiday dedicated to Japan's original founder and reign of the first emperpor, Jimmu. People will gather around and celebrate, they don't normally have huge parties or celebrations but most people do get off of work so that's fun unless you like working then yeah.

What I would do to celebrate is to visit a few places just to show my appreciation for all the things that have become of Japan after it was found. I've heard about Yakushima and how it is suppose to be a magical place with a goregous beach and is known for its wildlife and cedar forests. The second place I would like to visit is Aokigahara also known as suicide forest. It has rocky, ice caverns that is one of the few popular tourist destitnations. Aokigahara is associated with ghosts and is a common suicide spot, that is why there is a sign at the main trail that tells suicidal vistors to think about their families and to contact a suicide prevention association. All of those famalies who had a child/children that commited suicide must have been a dark day for them. The last place I would want to visit is a Tokyo Meiji shrine, a doll funeral. That is called Ningyo Kuyo, doll appreciation festival. Ningyo Kuyo is a ceramony for dolls of all sorts. They believe that dolls that have been treated poorly come to life and attack their owners, just for revenge. Those are called yokai which are supernatural monsters, spirits and demons. Those are the places I would visit to show my appreciation.

They Left At The Age Of 12

Over 100 years ago when children went to school and reached the age of 12 or 13, they would start working. They would normally work on a local farm, milking cows. If I was alive 100 years and started working, I would be in the middle of happiness and sadness. I would love to go through the experience of being a farmer but also no matter what, I would still be lazy so I would be sad to do work, like when I have to do chores. These are my two main reaons why I wouldn't have enjoyed the olden days as much as now.

Swinging- Wassily Kandinsky

This abstract art was created by a guy called Wassily Kandinsky who called it swinging. Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian artist and he's painted one of the first recognised abstract art. I like all the bright colours and how I can form a few shapes into objects. If I could buy it, I would buy it for myself. I could get more drawing ideas and help me with shading. I could also try and copy it and try my own abstract art by using only those shapes. What's your opinion of this abstract art and if you could buy it, who would you buy it for?

Would I Like To Be Prime Minister

Now, if I was the prime minister of New Zealand, I would reconsider. Being a prime minister is a HUGE responsibilty. I'd have to attend meetings, , make desicions. I would not be fit for that role especially the desicions part. I'm not good at making desicions even if they're simple. I would stress out and feel the pressure getting to me maybe get a few headaches. These are my reasons to why I wouln't want to be prime minister.

Hillary Who

The Hillary who I will be "facting" (Yes, I did make that up) is none other than Hillary Clinton, the woman running for president against Donald Trump and others.
Hillary Clinton is an American politician. She moved to Arkansas and married Bill Clinton, then had a daughter called Chelsea Clinton who has children of her own. Hillary was born on October 26 1947. Last fact of Hillary is that her whole name is Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. If you want to learn more about Hillay Clinton, like I've said so many times in other posts, go on google. Talk to you next post!
