On your blog, write a review of The Royal Family performance. Please talk about the dance, dancers, costumes, and the music. What did you like? What didn’t you like as much? What do you think could have been improved?

They put on a (what I thought was) flawless performance!! Everyone was in sync and dancing on beat with the music. If there were mistakes they didn't let it show.
The chereography was very intricate. Some of the dance moves I was amazed at. They looked incredibly hard to pull off but the dancers had that look of confidence. I think that's where some of the charm comes from. I really love how they transitioned between songs.
Regarding the costumes, I thought that they were alright. It made the dancers stand out, the girls more so than the boys. I just think that the boys' costumes were being overshadowed and they weren't popping like the rest of the group.
Overall it was spectacular! The chereography, the songs and the dancers themselves were amazing,

I interepreted this quote as "if you have a hard-to-overcome problem break it into smaller jobs and work from there." This quote stood out to me as I tend to make a problem bigger than it is.

Three things that you learned while completing the programme?
Participating in this years' SLJ has really opened my eyes to what's going on around the world and I got to learn about simpler things.
For instance, the protests happening at Ihumatao and how I could help those over in Australia. I also learnt that tiny houses exist.

What changes/improvements you would make to the programme for next year?

I think I had the most fun in participating in this years' SLJ. I loved the theme and most of the activities were absolutely fun to complete! If I could I would definitely participate in the next one.
