Multiples - The result of one number being multipled by another

E.g. 2 times table // 2 x 4 = 8 // 2 x 6 = 12 // 2 x 8 = 16

Factors - A smaller whole number that can be multipled by another whole number.

Prime Number - A number that can only be divided by itself and 1

*1 does not count as a prime or composite number

E.g. 2, 3, 5, 7, 11

HCF - Finding the highest number a part of both the times tables (can be said as Greatest Common Factor)

E.g. HCF of 12 and 8 = 4

LCM - Two different multiplication sets that have the same lowest multiple

E.g. LCM of 8 and 12 = 24

B rackets - (8+3)^2 / 11 x 3 + 4 - 1

E xponents - (8+3)^2 / 11 x 3 + 4 - 1

D ivision - (8+3)^2 / 11 x 3 + 4 - 1

ultiplication - (8+3)^2 / 11 x 3 + 4 - 1

A ddition - (8+3)^2 / 11 x 3 + 4 - 1

S ubtraction - (8+3)^2 / 11 x 3 + 4 - 1

Standard Form

A way of writing down large numbers easily

E.g. 39,000 = 39 x 10^3

'Percentage of...' means to multiply

E.g. 30% of 25 / 30 percent of 25 = 30% x 25

Divide % by 100

30/100 = 0.3

Multiply decimal by equation number

0.3 x 25
