2019 Armageddon
Yesterday Leanah, Jessica and I had gone to Armageddon. We spent hours being indecisive and taking breaks but eventually we had purchased a couple items.
I ended up buying a Tanjiro and Nezuko figure, 2 Boku no Hero Academia pins from @bunnyknickers, a Kimetsu no Yaiba bag which came with a free plushie that we could pick, and two Kimetsu no Yaiba keychains.
After we had left the expo Leanah and I were playing around with the Yuri On Ice tattoos that came with one of her purchases.

SkyCity Fire
It has been three days since the fire at the SkyCity convention center has caught fire. Countless firefighters have had to work overnight to try and calm down the fire. Fortunately, the fire has quieted down a considerable lot resulting in the operation to scale back as it is now in recovery phase.
The cause of the fire has not been determined but some speculate that a blowtorch was accidentally left on and unattended.
This is horrible seeing has business have had to close due to the fire.

The First Dark Sky Nation?
New Zealand could possibly become the first dark sky nation. There a currently three dark sky sites, Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve, Great Barrier Island Dark Sky Sanctuary, and Stewart Island/Rakiura Dark Sky Sanctuary. One of their plans is to create a country-wide haven of the night sky.
Around 120 delegates will attend the New Zealand Starlight Conference which will be held in Tekapo from Monday to Wednesday.
I think that this is a spectacular idea because if they were to go through with this it would encourage other nations to try and reduce light pollution.
