Lisa Carrington
Lisa Carrington is 27 and was born in 1989, in Tauranga. Lisa Carrington is a canoe sprinting 200m distance champion since 2011. In 2015 she took it up a notch, adding the K1 500m world title. The Whakatane-raised Carrington, of Te Aitanga-a-Mahaki and Ngati Porou descent, first started paddling as a surf lifesaver and has represented New Zealand in that sport too.
To me Lisa Carrington sounds like a successful woman who knows what she wants to do in life. I would love to ask Lisa Carrington so many questions about what she had to do to achieve her dream.

Day Three Archery Skills
Archery
It's an old sport, still a famous sport today you guessed it, ARCHERY!
Archery is an old sport from the Egyptians. The Egyptians used bows and arrows for hunting. Archery debuted which means first appearancesc at the 1900 Olympics, in Paris and France. In 1904, it became one of the first Olympic sports to include woman.
The Aim Of Archery
The goal for archery is to shoot 10 rings 48 inches across and a gold ring worth a maximum 10 points.
Two Main Archery Rules
1.The competers most shoot arrows as close as they can near the center of a target shooting from 230 feet away.
2.You need to have great skill, accuracy and nerve.
Archery sounds like a really exciting sport that I would enjoy but need a few weeks to practice. I hope you have learnt a few things about archery.

A Unique And Creative Logo
Hello everyone,
today I have created a logo from my imagination. I decided to create my own logo for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. It took me a few mintues to come up with an idea of the colours and design. Here is the logo.
I was trying to draw a person out of the Olympic ring colours but it didn't turn out too good. I was thinking of drawing a man holding a medal and particales around him but the particales look like a rainbow around him. This was a really fun and challenging challenge especially the shading.

Day Two Three Famous And Unique New Zealand Landmarks
Gore is a small town in the South Island, as you enter Gore there is a large trout, when people see the trout they associate it with Gore.
The brown trout is famous in Gore/Mataura.
The Paua house can be found at the bottom of the South Island in a small town called Bluff. Bluff is 25min drive from Invercargill. The Paua house is a landmark, people have come from all over the world to see the house. Each room is decorated with Paua shells.
I can see why people from all over the world have come to visit this, this is very eye-catching.
Otorohanga Kiwihouse, this can be found in the town of Otorohanga, Which is 53km's south of Hamilton. The kiwihouse was a tourist attraction, where people could go and see live kiwis. This is the kiwiplace. The detail and design are quite unique.

Day Two "Tom And Vinicius Episode #1"
The Tale Of Tom And Vinicius's Friendship
How the mascots Tom and Vinicius became friends.
Tom and Vinicius were chasing an orb then found themselves staring at eachother. The orbs wanted to create a strong bond between those two and it worked. They both went on adventures together and did other things together. I think those two will become the best of friends until the end.

Girls Should Particiapate In The Olympics
During the ancient Olympic Games, men were allowed to compete in the events but women were not. In fact, women were often forbidden from even watching the games.
I think that rule is silly and unfair because,
1.Women want to support their partner.
2.Women don't have to stay at home and do chores.
3.Men aren't the only people who can do these sports.
If the No Girls Rule didn't change a few years later then no one would have known about Valerie Adams who's known for shot put or Lydia Ko who is a proffesional golfer.
I hope a lot of you can agree with me.
Stay tuned until Day Two.

Day One Part Two 'Milo Of Kroton'
Thousands of years ago in a country Greece was the first ever Olympic Games held in an ancient city called Olympia. There were amazing events held there called running, wrestling, boxing, pankration, horse racing and pentathlon.
Milo Of Kroton
Milo Of Kroton
2.Milo led the people of Kroton to a military victory over the neighboring city of Sybaris in 510.
3.No one knows the date of Milo's death.People say he was splitting a tree in half when his hands became stuck in the tree.It was then a pack of wolves surprised, killed and ate him.
Day One Part One Olden Day Olympics
Once Upon a Time in Olympia…
Thousands of years ago in the country Greece was the first ever Olympic Games held in an ancient city called Olympia. There were amazing events like running, wrestling, boxing, pankration, horse racing and pentathlon.
If I took part in the
Olympics, I would choose the running event. I would have to do three running events called The Stade,The Diaulos and finally The Dolichos. These three running stages have different difficulty levels. The Stade is a sprinting race. The athletes would run from one side of the stadium to the other. The Diaulos is a middle distance run. For those of you who don't know what middle distance run means, it means it's longer than a sprint race so it can go from 800 metres to the mile run which is 3000 metres. Last but not least The Dolichos race.If you thought that The Diaulos was the hardest one think again. The Dolichos race is an endurance race. The athletes have to run approximately which means almost 20 lengths of the stadium, what a work out. If the athletes can run 20 lengths, I can too if I train hard. The only reason I want to do the running event is because it would help me become fit. Stay tuned and you may be able to read another blog post about the Olden Day Olympics.

Receiving A Certificate
Everyone was sad that Tony and Guy had to leave but we learned a lot about saving money, being trustworthy, taking risks and protecting our identity. All of room 9 had received a certificate after learning about Financial Literacy with Tony and Guy. Everyone had fun, some students gave them cards and one student said a thank you speech.
